O teorema de Stolz-Cesàro e suas aplicações

Abstract

Thinking about the need to enhance knowledge about criteria for the study of numerical sequences efficiently, this work aims to present, in a clear and coherent way, definitions and concepts of convergences already known. Furthermore, complement with the Stolz-Cesàro Theorem and its applications which are invested in sequence convergence criteria as a further test. sophisticated and very useful in the analysis of sequence behaviors, much explored in Mathematics Olympiads. Among the specific objectives stand out: analyze Stolz's theorem; look for your most usual applications and extend the study of sequences with a numerical and effective method.
