Relato de experiência em pesquisa histórica: memórias futebolísticas em Novo Aripuanã nos anos 1970

Abstract

This account of experience in historical research seeks to highlight and analyze the memories of football in Novo Aripuanã in the 1970s, emphasizing its impact on the cultural and social identity of a part of the community. Using Oral History as a method, interviews were conducted with former players, coaches, fans, and other community members. The data were documented through transcriptions and textualizations to preserve their narratives and make them ready sources for analysis. The results indicate that football, in addition to being a sporting practice, generated profound social transformations, strengthening ties between people and generating a feeling of unity and local identity. Thus, it is concluded that the memories of football in Novo Aripuanã go beyond fun; they are an essential part of the local memory and culture, showing how sport has the power to unite the community and strengthen social and cultural ties.
