Agricultura familiar na comunidade Santa Fé – Parintins/AM: uma análise socioeconômica da produção agrícola

Abstract

This article seeks to analyze family farming in the community of Santa Fé, in the rural area of the municipality of Parintins/AM, whose objective was to identify the agricultural activities carried out by rural producers in the community and to observe the socioeconomic characteristics of the locality. From the specific objectives, we sought to know the existing agricultural production model in the Community of Santa Fé, characterizing the production system and its means and resources, as well as listing the difficulties of production and disposal existing in the community and understanding the importance of the development of agricultural activities for the quality of life of the community. In order to achieve the objectives, the field research approach makes use of a form, with closed questions, based on a literature directed to the theme and interviews with the residents of the community. As a result, the research presented the agricultural activities developed by rural producers in the community of Santa Fé, which is focused on family farming, agricultural crops are fruit species. The main difficulties in agricultural production were presented, including the transfer of goods due to the lack of infrastructure, since, according to reports from the community, some ways have been sought to adapt to the process of growth and transformation of the community.
