Resumo

We live in a technological world, but can we say that our schools are keeping up with this process? In this experience report, we will seek to understand the reality of the Sérgio Rufino de Oliveira Full-Time School regarding the availability and use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in History classes. We will present ICTs as a pedagogical resource that reduces precariousness and helps to value the work of teachers, suggesting, therefore, a shift from teaching through traditional tools to teaching with technological methods and tools. Based on the experience gained in Supervised Internship I, and through the observations made, we can see that the school in question does not have technological resources to support the teaching of History classes. With this work, we will seek to gather data on the impact of this lack on the delivery of History classes, as well as on learning itself. Another important factor is to understand the students' perception of the use of these resources, whether they impact the teaching-learning process in any way, or whether they are not very relevant. In the end, we will realize that students have access to some technological resources outside of the school environment, but that they do not have them within the school itself.
