Resumo

Pregnancy is a physiological phase in a woman's life. However, it demands special health care, food and nutrition due to the possibility of unfavorable outcomes for the mother-child binomial. Objective: to understand the food consumption and lipid and glycemic profile of pregnant women treated at the Family Health Strategy (ESF) in the city of Manaus, checking whether there is an occurrence of gestational dyslipidemia. Method: study was descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative, using primary data collected through: applied questionnaire, Electronic Citizen Record (PEC), Pregnant Woman's Handbook. Results: sociodemographic profile showed women under 25 years old (44.6%), mixed race (75.4%), complete secondary education (53.8%), without paid work (50.8%), with family income of a minimum wage (47.5%). Regarding eating habits, pregnant women prepared food (73.8%), preferring cooked foods (58.3%). The accumulated consumption of ultra-processed drinks was 65.3%, and ultra- processed foods included instant noodles (52.9%), stuffed biscuits (68.6%), sausages (60.3%), fast food (61. 9%). The accumulated consumption of healthy foods included fruits (98.8%), vegetables (86.3%), vegetables (74.1%), legumes (100%). BMI demonstrated different values by PEC and gestational age, with overweight standing out in both. The lipid profile showed altered values of TC (20.4%), HDL-s (50%), LDL-c (4.2%), TG (20.4%). In the association between lipid profile and BMI, the following occurred: low weight (3.9%), normal weight (31.3%), overweight (29.4%), obesity (32.2%). Dyslipidemia was confirmed. Conclusion: pregnant women are financially dependent, limiting their food choices and opting for ultra- processed foods. There is no consistency in requesting blood glucose and lipid levels. Underweight, overweight and obesity occur.
