Impactos socioambientais da usina termoelétrica na cidade de Parintins: uma análise do despejo dos rejeitos líquidos no bairro Vitória Régia

Abstract

The present work aimed at an analysis on the socio-environmental impacts related to the installation of the Thermal Power Plant in the city of Parintins / AM, which is in the center of the city and has been causing great damage to the nearest population, such as oil spill burned in the soil and going towards the Lake Macurany and has also been causing disturbance to the population, the great advantage is the generation of energy and the disadvantage are the social and environmental impacts. Doing research with the nearby residents I could observe the numerous complaints of residents with the cases of the government and the private company Amazonas Energia in relation to the complaints of residents who have been suffering constantly from pollution of the lake, soil, air, etc., in the city of Parintins. Thus, it was possible to perceive that thermoelectric energy despite being a determining factor in the development of the northern region, lists negative points in relation to its process of generating harmful impacts to the environment, thermal power plants become a solution to meet the energy demands of the region. With the oil spill burned, with noise pollution, air pollution pollution of lake Macurany we see the failure of monitoring of the competent agencies in doing a survey of study of the impacts, it is observed that have to do a study and evaluation, monitor the parameters defined by the legislation and it is of fundamental importance to verify the degree of pollution of the effluent in water, in the air and sound of the city of Parintins.
