Resumo

In the present monographic work, the cultural fomentation was investigated through dance in the process of teaching/learning in individuals on second and third infancy, and others at the beginning of pre-teenage years, all residents of the September 23rd Community. Due to deficiency of artistic activities on an academic and conscientious level at the cited region. this research had as initiative to bring art, dance and culture in a gratuitous and voluntary manner, guaranteeing access to all interested. Through research-action there have been taught classes that resulted in collected data and with them, the analysis of the results. Based on the results acquired, the conclusion reached is that dance acted as a promoting tool for learning of new artistic cultures, where individuals can discover new identities, new forms of dancing, reading and perceiving their ambient, their places and people that surround them.
