Resumo

The use of didactic games in mathematics classes has become increasingly common in schools, because in addition to providing a playful way of working with students, the didactic game, if used correctly, adds a lot to the student's learning and development process. This work was carried out through qualitative research and aims to describe the works of the 13th edition of the National Meeting of Mathematics Education (ENEM), which talk about the use of Didactic Games in Mathematics Teaching and Learning in the final grades of Elementary School, the in order to identify works that deal with the use of didactic games in Mathematics classes and show which mathematical contents are being worked on most through didactic games, and at what moment they are being used. During data analysis, we noticed that didactic games were and can be used in various ways in the classroom, such as introducing new content, solving problems or even evaluating student development. We also found that educational games were played by students more frequently in 9th grade classes, with a total of 12 games used, taking into account that in some cases the same educational game can be developed in different grades, depending on the content to be played. be covered during regular Mathematics classes.
