Abstract

This paper addresses the production of affordable housing in the Ropoca occupation, in the São Vicente de Paula neighborhood, in the city of Parintins. The aim is to analyze the production of affordable housing on the banks of Lake Macurany, highlighting the role of women, the types of housing and the socioeconomic and environmental issues of the study area. Methodologically, the work has 04 stages for the construction of development, which goes from the bibliographic survey as a theoretical basis to the realization of field research through the questionnaire, to the realization of interviews with residents. As a result, the absence of basic services that guarantee the residents of the Ropoca Occupation, better quality of life was identified.
