Relato de experiência em projeto extensionista: método nortista para violino.

Abstract

This article aims to report the experiences encountered during the planning and implementation of the "Método Nortista para Violino" extension project, from the Universidade do Estado do Amazonas. The project seeks to be an alternative guide for violin teaching, integrating rhythms and songs typical of the Amazon and Brazil, thus bringing the students' repertoire closer to their local reality. The methodology used is the narrative of experience, which analyzes different aspects of the project, such as the search for theoretical references and the analogy with the Suzuki Method. Additionally, the skills addressed in each proposed exercise are described. The article also presents the results of the project's implementation, highlighting the interaction between instrumental technique and musical expressiveness, which contributed to the professional and artistic development of the participants. In this way, the project demonstrated the importance of a contextualized music education that is close to the students' culture.
