Externalidades do pescado: Avaliação do pescado em relação a influência de atravessadores no preço e no impacto ambiental gerado pela sobre-exploração de espécies de peixes na região de Parintins/AM

Abstract

The aim of this present is evaluate the impacts caused by the presence of middlemen in the exploitation of the fish trade in the fairs of Parintins-AM and its relation with the final price that reaches the consumers, investigate the causes of the large exploitation, and to understand the relationship between exploitation and price. The investigation was carried out through interviews with fishermen, middlemen and cooperative members in order to achieve the desired results. The interviews were carried out through a questionnaire already defined and applied to all sectors, we emphasize that it is not always possible to ask the idealized questions since the marketers felt more comfortable answering more direct questions than those idealized and posed in the questionnaire. In this work we can identify in the speech of the collaborators a great index of exploration of rivers and lakes since there is a competitiveness in this category in which not only riverine fishermen arrive to practice fishing but also the fishing companies. The analyzes testify negative externalities in the fishing production-chain in Parintins/AM.
