Práticas pedagógicas no ensino de história com as obras de Carolina Maria de Jesus e Françoise Ega

Abstract

This article analyzes the use of the works *Quarto de Despejo*, by Carolina Maria de Jesus, and *Cartas a uma Negra*, by Françoise Ega, as pedagogical resources in the teaching of History, based on experiences developed during the Supervised Internship and the Institutional Scholarship Program for Teaching Initiation (PIBID) at the Tomaszinho Meirelles State School (2025). The study aims to reflect on the potential of literature as a historical source in addressing themes such as social inequality, racism, colonialism, migration, and domestic work, from the narratives of Black women. These sources contribute to the development of critical awareness and historical understanding among students; literature allows for a more humanized approach, promoting the appreciation of silenced voices and strengthening the civic education of students.
