Pretagogias de Terreiro: práticas de ensino-aprendizagem no cotidiano do terreiro Recanto de Preta Mina

Abstract

This research addresses the teaching-learning processes during the initiation ritual at Recanto de Preta Mina Ilê de Iansã, the main omolokô terreiro in Manaus/AM. Fifty years since its foundation, the space safeguards Afro-diasporic culture in the Amazon through teachings based on the African worldview, with an emphasis on the traditions of Angola from which the cult of Omolokô arises and traces of the history of Preta Mina, matriarch of Ilê axé. Based on the theoretical-methodological framework pretagogy (Petit; Silva, 2013), the following values are highlighted: orality; of the body; of manual crafts and musicality present during initiation at Recanto de Preta Mina, these practices are reported with escrevivências, by the researcher Conceição Evaristo (1996), and yawo, by Tatazazi and other terreiro subjects that corroborate the notion of terreiro floors understood during the research, organizing teaching-learning processes at the locus and contributing to counter-colonial and Afro-centered ways of thinking about education in Brazil.
