A importância do conhecimento em língua estrangeira para os agentes da Politur no atendimento aos turistas

Abstract

This study, developed in the light of historical-social concepts from a perspective for specific purposes, is based on the search for an understanding of the importance of the foreign language to POLITUR agents. That is, in what way the foreign language influences the performance of Tourism Policing professionals for safe and effective communication. Based on the factors that motivated the agents to learn the foreign language, this work aims to show the levels of fluenc y of the agents and to analyze the importance of the LE in the tourist service. The study of the proposed theme, of a descriptive nature, providing additional information to the work with focus within the qualitative-quantitative approach of bibliographical research, gives the opportunity to penetrate a little explored topic. In addition to helping policing professionals and language teachers, who interact in a transformation society, analyze their ability to understand in a foreign language.
