Processo de direção teatral na montagem cênica: Os Sete Gatinhos (2019)

Abstract

This article aims to report the scenic assembly process inspired by the work The Seven Kittens by Nelson Rodrigues, conducted with the TEU Group (UEA Experimental Theater Group), is an extension project of the State University of Amazonas (UEA), focuses mainly on the creative process of the participating actors, and challenges and overcoming and the process of scenic interpretation worked in its course. The author of the experience report, who is also a director and actress in the process, tries to draw two perspectives on what happened, her position as director, which requires thinking about the application of exercises and theatrical games, collaboration with the creative process of the group and the referral of actions and problem solving; and as an actress, thinking about the individual creative process, paper composition work through sensitive text reading and staging possibilities. For all this, an overview of the director's past activities is also presented, in order to explain the “path” taken, the historical justification and exchange of relationships that influenced the choices of these “paths” and the final presentation of the process.
