Item As línguas étnicas no Parque das Tribos em Manaus - um estudo etnolinguístico nos espaços culturais indígenas Unka Umbuesara Wakenai Anumarehit e Kokama(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-06-14) Mustafa, Amanda Ramos; Martins, Silvana Andrade; Martins, Valteir; Crus, Jocilene Gomes daLanguage, considered a production of humanity and understood as a social practice, enables the subject to construct one`s own trajectory, and transform onesself into a historical and social being. In the context of indigenous populations this condition becomes much more visible, precisely because they are subjects with peculiarities in their historical and cultural sense in the configuration of Brazilian people. The language in this scope, is an inseparable element of their ethnic identity roots. Of the more than 1,500 indigenous languages spoken in Brazilian territory at the time of the arrival of the Portuguese, only about 200 are still spoken and among these, some are threatened with extinction. It is, under this approach, that the present research is developed, whose objective is to register the linguistic teaching practices developed in cultural spaces and the reflections on the uses of ethnic languages in the urban indigenous community of the Parque das Tribos in Manaus. This is an interethnic context, in which about 478 families live, most of them indigenous belonging to 24 different ethnic groups. It is an ethnolinguistic study, which also based on the theoretical assumptions of Sociolinguistics It is characterized as a descriptive and exploratory research, carried out through bibliographical research, field research, through participant observation, using the field diary, questionnaires and interviews. The results indicate that the teaching and social practices of the use of ethnic languages in the Cultural Spaces of Parque das Tribos represents an ascending diacritic that occurs intertwined with the cultural knowledge of the different peoples that live in that locality. Its participants, children, teenagers, young people and adults, acquire ethnic knowledge through a multiple sharing of traditional knowledge and new knowledge. This coexistence environment provides an extension of the linguistic and identity repertoire of its members, strengthens the uses of indigenous languages and multiethnic cultural practices in the everyday life of this large urban indigenous community of Amazonas. Item Educação escolar indígena: um estudo sociolinguístico do Nheengatu na escola Puranga Pisasú do Rio Negro, Manaus-AM.(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-03-22) Lima, Ademar dos Santos; Martins, Silvana Andrade; Martins, Silvana Andrade; Cruz, Aline da; Martins, ValteirThe present study aims to reflect on the Indigenous School Education proposed by the Municipal Education Department of Manaus and the sociolinguistic situation of the nheengatu speakers having as reference an indigenous school of the community Pisasú Sarusawa/ Nova Esperança, of the Baré ethnic group in the Municipality of Manaus - AM. A total of 128 informants were interviewed on skills and abilities in nheengatu speech. The study found that of these, only 25, in the age group above 40 years, speak the ethnic language fluently; 68, in the age group between 12 and 39 years old they understand and can speak some words and expressions; 35, in the age group of 4 to 11 years do not speak and only understand the indigenous language. Erotismo e sexualidade na obra de Nelson Rodrigues: teatro e crônica. Manaus, 2013. Dissertação (Mestrado em Letras e Artes) – Escola Superior de Artes e Turismo, Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, Manaus, 2013. Ten years after the author blended his experience in news and drama chronicles inaugurating the column "A vida como ela é..." Last time in Rio de Janeiro newspaper. In this new format, their narratives of heartbreak became more urban and everyday. This study investigates the ways in which eroticism and sexuality are represented in the theater and in the book, such as the transmutation of the patriarchal model for the urban environment, the behavioral transformations that the inclusion of women in the workplace brought to romantic relationships, and observation of sexual behavior as a means of maintaining power. Thus, the legend is revisited in this dissertation, placing it in dialogue with the dramaturgy, seeking in the reworking of the narratives to evidence the presentification, characteristic of both theater and legend. In another direction, it also seeks to stimulate discussion different theories about the concepts, structures and forms used by the dramaturgy from the classics to the post-drama, in order to expand the possibilities creative for the text that has the legend as thematic, providing another space for enunciation for the legendary. In application terms, the dissertation presents reflections developed from the practical experience of building four dramatic texts.Item A arquitetura Neogótica no Período da Borracha: um estudo tipológico das construções de Manaus.(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2013-06-15) Dias, Pollyanna D’Avila Gonçalves; Páscoa, Luciane Viana Barros; Páscoa, Márcio Leonel Farias Reis; Páscoa, Luciane Viana Barros; Páscoa, Márcio Leonel Farias Reis; Mesquita, Otoni Moreira deThe Rubber Boom Period provided great cultural and social changes in the city of Manaus and encouraged the inclusion of revivals in public and private architecture. This research analyzed the use of references in the Neogothic buildings of this period and its dialogue with other styles, reflecting the relationship between art and history and the memory of a collectivity. The research was developed from the iconological, typological and symbolic analysis of the buildings: the Reservatório da Castelhana (around 1890), the Chapel of St. John the Baptist Cemetery (1906), the Chapel of the Poor Devil (1897), the Chapel of the Holy House of Mercy (1922), and neogothic fragments of ecletic buildings of the historic center of Manaus.Item Senhoras de Andrade : o corpo, a dança e as novas tecnologias na obra de Moacir Andrade.(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2013-09-24) Fernandes Neto, João; Matos, Mauricio Gomes de; Matos, Mauricio Gomes de; Maia, Gleidys Meyre da Silva; Mesquita, Otoni Moreira deWhen looking to study about the history of the city of Manaus, what is found in terms of study is most often directly linked to the period of the Rubber Cycle or the phase of the Manaus Free Zone, creating a large gap between a period and another. The 1950s, for example, constitute a period of great movement in Manaus: a process of resuming urbanization, population growth and cultural movement, as presented by Oliveira (2003), Mello (1984) and Souza (2003), showing a city that continued its activities, directly reflecting on what we are today in Manaus. The interest in developing this research arose from the need to seek to add other artistic languages to the already recognized and solidified work of Moacir Andrade, who began his artistic trajectory in the mid-1950s and his contribution to the visual arts of Amazonas, bringing to the knowledge of all his commitment and its importance for the contribution of local cultural identity. To this end, this research seeks to answer the following question: How to re-present the works of the Amazonian artist Moacir Andrade in his paintings in the Amazon, enabling the exchange of Plastic Arts with contemporary Dance through the study and interpretation of his works in new artistic languages? To answer the question, we systematized this research and proposed the following specific objectives: to discuss the exchange of artistic languages in the visual arts and dance, the reinterpretation of our works as well as their new interpretation and their greater dissemination to the population, enabling the meeting of artists of other languages with works already established, to represent the painting of this great artist through contemporary dance and the use of new technologies. It is worth considering that the present research aims to discuss the existing relations between the visual arts and dance and how they influence the behavior and thinking of the contemporary body and how it assumes its role of transforming, reflective, questioning, thus contributing with new values of contemporary art . To justify the research, we start from the assumption that without the linearity between the concepts, the body is explored in its unfolding, at the threshold between what emotion and reason coordinate and dance and gesture correspond. The research work starts from the process of studying open dance to confront, mix and investigate its potential through interaction with other artistic languages, especially the visual arts, which immerses itself in the grandiose work of the Amazonian artist Moacir Andrade, in his magical paintings about popular revelry in the Amazon. The re-presentation of these works gains a new concern, a new interpretation through the movement of these images, thus enabling greater diffusion and the reinforcement of our commitment to art in keeping our cultural identity more and more alive, adding even more values to our artists as well as its popularization thus making our Brazilian cultural heritage increasingly rich. Iconographic sources will also have their place in the research, as they carry important information that can compose the final result. In addition to the sources described above, other documentary sources will also be searched, such as newspapers, magazines, folders, pamphlets that allow the crossing of information to deepen the issues that will be raised during the research process. As a final product of this research, 2 video dance works contextualized the re-reading of two works by Andrade and the dialogue with new technologies in this process of hybridization of the arts. This Edition involves two decades for Mistral’s Discourse (1920 and 1930). To do this, an inter- and transdisciplinary approach (Discourse and Enunciation, Literary Theory and Criticism, Political Philosophy, Social Sciences and Latin-American Studies) will be followed in order to reflect on Gabriela Mistral as a writer who has been metonymically realized in World Literature. The latter takes place by means of a Colonial Myth imposed on society, which, based on Republicanism, forgets about her contribution to both the Iberoamerican Continent and the Western World in general terms. Thus, new perspectives are necessary and they can be reached by acknowledging the author’s subjectivity, which will help to notice a plethora of contradictions belonging to a decentered subject within the cronotopical story of her own biography. Keywords: Gabriela Mistral – Political Discourse – Prose – Subjectivity and Otherness – Colonial MythItem Escola de Tururukari Uka : uma análise do papel da escola na formação da identidade linguísticocultural dos Kambeba(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-03-30) Oliveira, Marileny de Andrade de; Martins, Silvana Andrade; Martins, Silvana Andrade; Martins, Valteir; Cruz, Jocilene Gomes daThis study analyzes the role of the indigenous school in the production of the linguistic-cultural identity of the Kambeba of Tururukari-Uka. The indigenous Kambeba ethnic group, soon after the first centuries of colonization, were considered extinct. However, in the 1980, the patriarch, Mr. Valdomiro Cruz, brings up the voice of this population that seeks its ethnic reassertion. The village Kambeba Tururukari-Uka, located in the rural area of the municipality of Manacapuru - AM, is the main stage of this history of resistance and ethnic struggle: the situation of conflict due to the appropriation of the land where they live; the clashes of interethnic contacts, since they live in the vicinity of two non-indigenous communities; and the process of strengthening the language. The theoretical contribution was based on references such as Luciano (2006), Melatti (1994), Mircea Eliade (1994), Couto (2012), Hanks (2008), Rajagopalan (2003), Bauman ) among other authors. The data that compose the corpus of this research were collected through participant observation, application of semistructured questionnaires, interviews and the registration of words from the Swadesh list. Through the analysis of the results, it is concluded that the Tururukari-Uka natives maintain a relationship of transculturality as a form of resistance and struggle for their rights within the surrounding society, understood as a collectivity constituted both by indigenous peoples of other ethnic groups and also by non Indians. Gradually, they regain the pride of being Indian, in a conception that contrasts with the mythical and stereotyped vision of the "Indian being" disseminated by the Europeans. In this cultural hybridity, the community school plays a role as the protagonist, through indigenous school education, of the process of disseminating the Kambeba language and culture to the new generation, acting in the identity formation of the Kambeba, in the process of strengthening the practices of ethnic movements, in the movements that claim for the rights to land, health, the preservation of their culture, and differentiated education. In this way, the silence of almost two centuries drives the suppressed cry that is made especially in the Amazonian society in favor of the recognition of an ethnicity given by extinct in the last century.
