The popular cultural manifestation carimbó is one of the Brazilian expressions that carries with it religiosity and tradition, being present in most religious festivals and rites in the northern region of the country. From this, this research aims to analyze the process of creating a videodance that investigates the language of carimbó in the Christian environment. This research is configured as qualitative of exploratory character and to achieve it’s objectives, it used action research, being divided into three stages. The first stage consisted of a theoretical bibliographic survey, highlighting the authors Wolff (2014) and Wosniak (2006), Bonfim (2015) and Fuscaldo (2015). The second stage was the field research, with laboratories to study the possibilities of carimbó movements in the religious context, ending with choreographic cells for the recording of the videodance. And, the last and third stage comprised in the systematization and analysis of the results acquired that, from them, it was concluded that, through the creative process of videodance, it is possible the interaction of the popular dance carimbó with the religious environment, without giving reason to prejudices and measures that prevent the use of a new proposal of expression in this environment.Item Para além das aguas: o mito do boto na vida cotidiana de famílias ribeirinhas como proposta para a criação geográfica em dança(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2024-02-23) VITOR, Rejane Moreira; Ribeiro,Maria do Perpétuo Socorro Nóbrega; Abreu, Jeane Chaves de; Melo, CintiaThe discussion that guides this investigation points to riverside culture and the enchantment of the river as a central element of Amazonian legends, whose protagonist is the mythological figure of the dolphin. As a general objective, we propose to investigate the relationship between the enchantment of the river and the legend of the dolphin in the generation of children of unknown fathers, which frequently occurs in riverside families. It is in this context that the image of the boto myth appears, represented by a being of charm and seduction who practices abuse and sexual violence with young and naive women. Regarding the methodology, the research is expressed as bibliographic, qualitative and Ex-Post-Facto Survey, by shedding light on the object of study, comparing the subjects' statements with the theoretical bases that underlie it. Among the readings that supported the study, we chose, especially sociology, philosophy and anthropology, pointing out definitions of culture, identity and subjectivity to understand the term enchantment that involved man versus animal. The results were evaluated using content analysis in comparison with data collected in the form of semi-structured interviews that were carried out with four people who live in Manaus, of interior origin. Regarding the enchantment of the river and the relationship with the legend of the dolphin, we conclude that it remains in the imagination of riverside families, as was clear in the narratives of subjects under the age of twenty- four born in the 21st century, and the idea of children of unknown parents corroborates with the statistics of Brazilian mothers who conceived their children prematurely, as well as pedophilia and rape. Last but not least, we hope that the synthesis of this investigation serves as a starting point for other research and that it demystifies the fallacies built around the aquatic mammal and the relationship with the legend of the dolphin.Item Balé clássico na fase adulta: experiências de vida na dança(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2024-02-23) Soeiro, Rebeca dos Santos; Costa, Caroline Brito; Lima, Getúlio Henrique Rocha; Almeida, Izabelle Azevedo NoronhaCurrently, the number of adults who decide/wish to continue or start practicing classical ballet in adulthood has increased. Sometimes, it is a life choice and the realization of a dream, but it ends up contributing and bringing benefits and challenges. As the body ages, it begins to have physical limitations. However, in some cases, bodywork such as stretching and physical exercise can stimulate or resolve certain characteristics that we may present with advancing age. In contrast, we still find the reality that many schools, studios or dance academies do not have a specific focus on adults who are interested in taking classes either for pleasure or health or to become a professional in the area. The general objective of this research was to analyze the life experiences in dance of adult practitioners of classical ballet in the city of Manaus. And so that we could reach the discussions and dialogues present in this work, we sought to investigate adults who started practicing ballet in adulthood; learn about the experiences and trajectories of adults practicing classical ballet and discuss the possible benefits and challenges of practicing ballet in adulthood. This is an applied, descriptive and exploratory research, with a qualitative approach carried out through field research using semi-structured interviews. Although discussions about adult ballet are relatively recent in the history of dance research, it is possible to connect the experiences reported in interviews with available literature, making dialogues about these experiences even more powerful and consistent from an artistic point of view and scientific.Item Memórias Enterradas: um Teatro Musical em construção(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2024-02-19) Silva, Mariana da Cunha; Abreu, Jeanne Chaves de; Pinto, Amanda da Silva; Silva, Kelson Nunes daThis study shows the importance of carefully integrating dance, drama, and music in musical theater. Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a training program that develops muscle memory, aiming to improve the technique of dance performers. With this, the program helps to prevent injuries, improve the dancer's ability to perform at their best, using balls, Pilates balls, mats, Thera Bands and other elements in their exercises to promote the development of the proposed activities. The research focuses on collecting, analyzing and discussing information through semi-structured interviews, seeking reports of how PBT contributes to the work of the dancer-performer associated with issues already exposed in the literature. Thinking about the contributions and benefits of dialogues and discussions about PBT, the general objective of this work was to analyze and discuss information and reports about Progressing Ballet Technique in the experience of dance performers. The research is characterized as applied, exploratory, descriptive, with a qualitative approach and field research using semi-structured interviews as instrumentation. With the semi-structured question guide used in this research, we were able to point out benefits, perceptions and observations of the interpreters after their experiences with the practice of PBT, which covered and included: physical performance, improvement in spatial perception, posture and body alignment, better performance in movements which involves strength, muscle memory and body awareness.Item Laban e feldenkrais na construção da expressividade do pesquisador intérprete(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2024-02-23) Seabra, Jackeline Cardoso; Arce, Carmem Lúcia Meira; Carvalho, Meireane Rodrigues Ribeiro; Paes, Ándre DuarteThe present work aims to present research related to the construction of body expressiveness, where body-image work was developed, created based on the methodologies of theorists Ruldolf Laban and Moshe Feldenkrais as a way of developing expressive gestures based on sensations and of everyday gestures, the methods of the aforementioned authors and their Self-image methodologies and Movement Factors in the form of body laboratories to be presented in the format of an Artist's Book. And psychomotricity as a discipline that integrates the cognitive, affective and motor domains, is based on the notion of a body that lives and acts based on the relationship of this triad and the relationship of the being to its internal and external world. In this context, the intersection between artistic practices, such as classical ballet, and psychomotricity emerges as a promising area of study, capable of contributing to promoting the quality of life of elderly people. By investigating the interaction between classical ballet and psychomotricity in an aging context, this study aims not only to fill gaps in scientific knowledge, but also to provide valuable debates for the development of strategies and programs that promote a healthy and meaningful life for the elderly population. This work is based on applied research, with exploratory and descriptive objectives, a qualitative approach, a phenomenological method, and with action research as its design. According to the theme, the research used psychomotor assessment instruments and strategies to capture the reflections of the target group participating in the research, in this case the elderly people participating in the project. Given these results, it is possible to conclude that practicing classical ballet in old age not only challenges the stigmas associated with this art form, but also offers an approach capable of promoting a healthy and meaningful life. The deconstruction of prejudices related to age and the classical aesthetics of ballet emerges as a crucial step towards encouraging broader participation in society and enjoying the physical, mental and social benefits provided by this practice.
