Item Acidentes de embarcações no rio Madeira e os desafios para a Engenharia Naval regional.(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-08-24) Souza, Jonas Andrade de; Fontes, Jassiel Vladimir Hernández; Fontes, Jassiel Vladimir Hernández; Santander, Elvis Jhoarsy Osório; Barreda del Campo, Eduardo Rafael; Hechavarría Pérez, José RamónMarine accidents in rivers of the Amazon have been significant problems over the years, making it necessary to look for measures to prevent this type of problems. Among the rivers of the Amazon region, the Madeira River is an important waterway due to the intense activity of transporting cargo and people, being the subject of study. The present work proposes an integrated analysis of the problem of marine accidents that have occurred in the Madeira River, identifying challenges in which Naval Engineering can contribute. First, a qualitative analysis of the most common accidents was carried out. Subsequently, an analysis of documented accidents was carried out, based on data provided by the Administrative Inquiries on Accidents and Navigation Facts (IAFN's) of the Brazilian Navy, between the years 2018 and 2022. Then, main challenges that Naval Engineering could take on accident prevention initiatives were discussed. Finally, some alternatives for studying and improving navigation on the Madeira River and similar rivers were proposed, considering recent scientific advances. According to the research, it was verified that, in the last five years, the most common type of accident, documented in the Madeira River, was collision. The type of vessel that was most present in the accident data on the river in question was the pusher-barge system. The proposed challenges are related to sediment transport, water level variation, accessibility, and lack of monitoring and signalization. On the other hand, the alternatives for improvement are related to enhancing bathymetric analysis, increasing monitoring and signalization initiatives, assessing structural risks and hydrodynamic behaviour of vessels, and encouraging training activities. The data presented in the present work can contribute to plan strategies in the prevention of marine accidents in the Madeira River or similar waterways.Item Adaptação de um tombador de moldes para paletizar caixas eletrônicos (ATM)(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2021-07-12) Torres, Diego Yuri Costa Novo; Garcia Cisnero, Edry Antonio; Del Rio, Daniel Guzmán; Evangelista Neto, JoãoThe ATM machine had its first prototype registered in the 30's, in England, but it was only popularized a few decades later after undergoing some improvements and alterations. In Brazil, this technology was implemented in the 80's and since then it has been part of the Brazilian routine, undergoing more and more technological advances and gaining practicality in its use. The company in which the study was carried out is located in the Industrial Pole of Manaus, Amazonas, carrying out the assembly and manufacture of ATMs that are in demand in Brazil and other Latin American countries. Due to the different requirements of the countries regarding the security of ATMs, the robustness of safes and the physical dimensions of their components, ATMs have different physical characteristics and, consequently, their safes are also differentiated. During the assembly of the ATMs, at the factory, the safe goes through the palletizing process, which consists of fixing the base of the safe to wooden pallets, superimposed on the surface of the Mold Dump. Due to the varied dimensions of the safes, the pallets and the Mold Tippers needed to undergo an adaptation, where new fastening axes were drilled in the two pieces so that the pallet is securely fixed to the Tipper and it can rotate the solid without causing accidents for operators. For this adaptation, 3D molds of the equipment were made, linked to calculations of the distance between the central and upper holes of the pallets and in the dumpers to juxtapose this piece and be attached to each other.Item Adequação de uma central de impressão à norma regulamentadora 12(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2021-07-15) Corrêa , Rebeca Gabrielle Leite; Del Pino, Gilberto Garcia; Kieling, Antonio Claudio; Torres, Aristides RiveraThe present work has the purpose of carrying out the adequacy of the Print Center project according to the general requirements demanded by the regulatory safety standards. The premises initially imposed for the realization of the project consisted of designing a printing machine on PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) with the ability to service the company's production lines, as well as an automated system to ensure the safety of employees responsible for carrying out operations in the machine. During the project, after several proposed models, the operation of the Printing Center was defined, according to the production capacity, the physical space provided by the company and the cost of implementing the project. Then, the components responsible for the operation of the machine were defined according to the requirements agreed between the company and the project team. Therefore, in parallel with the progress of the projects involving the Printing Center, the design of the enclosure structure for the machine started in order to ensure that the plant was in compliance with NR12, as well as the fastening project of all robotic manipulators that make up the system.Item Adequação do sistema de climatização da policlínica odontológica da Universidade Do Estado do Amazonas -UEA(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2021-07-14) Félix, Bruno José Matos Buenano; Del Campo, Eduardo Rafael Barreda,; Cruz, Ricardo Wilson Aguiar da; Evangelista Neto, JoãoPublic Health in the times we live in is unquestionable and it is necessary to be very careful when talking about the air conditioning of a hospital environment. There are standards that specify the precautions that must be taken in environments that must be controlled in some way because of the precautions with the transmission of any type of virus or bacteria. The idea of this work is to carry out a study to identify the anomalies of the acclimatization system at the polyclinic of dentistry at the State University of Amazonas - UEA and, after identifying these anomalies, prepare a plan for the optimization of the acclimatization system. The ABNT NBR 7256 Standard: 2005 Air Treatment in Health Care Establishments (EAS) - Requirements for the design and execution of the facilities (Published on 03/30/2005) specifies the care that must be taken and despite constant adjustments mainly due to the high rigor scenario for the control of virus spread and the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.Item Algoritmo de processamento digital de sinais baseado em matlab, aplicado a auscultas pulmonares de estetoscópios digitais(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-03-20) Silva, Lucas Bayma Da,; Cardoso, Fábio de Sousa,; Cardoso, Fábio de Sousa,; Pantoja, Antônio Luiz Alencar,; Oliveira, Jozias Parente de,The pulmonary auscultation process is very important for obtaining a pre-diagnosis for pulmonary diseases, being a non-invasive and easy-to-answer test, it can detect the beginning or the occurrence of pulmonary diseases. For this reason, this practice must be performed with maximum efficiency, in a non-noisy environment and with instruments that have a good response to the sounds of a lung. The main instrument for lung auscultation is called a stethoscope. This device has the purpose of filtering the sounds of the lung, and sending this sound to the ears of the specialist doctor. There are two types of stethoscopes on the market: analog and digital. The analog stethoscope does not have electronic devices, and is just a device with mechanical tubes that conduct sound through vibrations to the specialist's ears, noting that there is no filtering of the heart signal. The digital model, on the other hand, has electronic devices and several analog and/or digital filters to try to focus on the sound of the heart or lungs. This work aims to present a digital signal processing algorithm which can filter only the lung sound, eliminating the heart sound, which for this application will be treated as noise, in addition to other existing noises. For this purpose, digital signal processing techniques were used, such as windowing as a filter, in addition, to reduce some noise, the 6 sigma quality control method was used, with regard to the sigma level as tolerance and elimination of outliers . With these techniques, this treatment should be exposed by means of tests on an auscultation bank obtained properly.Item Analisador de logs de redes móveis em dispositivos android na linguagem python(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-03-30) Damasceno, Maria Gabriela Lima,; Ferreira Sobrinho, Angilberto Muniz,; Ferreira Sobrinho, Angilberto Muniz; Oliveira, Jozias Parente de,; Cardoso, Fábio de Sousa,In today’s world, it is almost impossible to carry out daily activities without the use of Mobile Communication Networks, either by internet data or by voice. The technologies in relation to the operation of these networks are evolving more and more quickly, with the main difference between each of them being the ability to provide services with greater efficiency. Among the mobile communication devices are Android devices, whose operating system is open source, these devices generate text files, called logs, which indicate which events occurred in the system in a given period of time. Currently, one of the functions of the Telecommunications Engineer is to analyze this type of file in order to identify the functioning or failures that may be occurring in mobile communication networks. However, this work is quite manual and time-consuming. Therefore, this research aims to create a tool in Python programming language, Dashboard type, to assist in the analyzes and reports carried out by Telecommunications Engineers. During the creation process, references related to Mobile Network Architecture, Handover, IMS, Signal Power and SIP Protocol will be studied, as well as concepts on Android Architecture, Log Collection and Python Language. At the end, the operation of each function of the code responsible for the operation of the Dashboard locally in Web browsers is described. As well as, the graphics of the Mobile Networks used, the graphics of power, intensity and quality of the 4G signal, the graph of the strength of the 3G signal and the Table with the SIP messages exchanged between the mobile device and the network are exposed.Item Análise comparativa e qualitativa de imagens geradas por exames de tomografia computadorizada e ressonância magnética utilizando etapas de pré-processamento digital de imagens(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2021-12-30) Sousa, Evelli Loys Batista; Oliveira, Jozias Parente de; Cardoso, Fábio de Sousa; Monteiro, Bruno GamaMedical imaging exams are the basis of modern medicine, in which body structures can be analyzed more succinctly without the need to apply invasive methods to patients. In more complex diagnoses that require continuous and in-depth analyses, the patient's work in performing continuous imaging exams can hinder the achievement of results over time, which in certain cases is crucial for the patient's life. From this, this project aimed to study the generation and reproduction of medical images from computed tomography and magnetic resonance machines, collecting data from cranial exams and applying digital pre-processing steps, through the use of a Gaussian filter, filter de Laplace, Sobel operator and anisotropic diffusion filter. To obtain the medical images, a database of patient images in Dicom format was used, which is the standard format for this type of image. The program to process the images was developed in Python language, using Spyder software. To support this project, an in-depth research was carried out on computed tomography and magnetic resonance equipment, acquisition and manipulation of medical images, digital image processing and comparative methods of image quality. The project, therefore, is based on the acquisition of images from examinations of the skull area coming from both machines, reproducing them through the Python programming language with the support of specific libraries such as OpenCV, Pydicom Skimage and Medpy, where they are pre- processed using filtering methods and computational adjustments, so that their results can be compared qualitatively and computationally. After the tests with the codes finalized, it was possible to conclude that the images from the resonance machine produced clearer and more detailed results, despite the program's processing time being higher.Item Análise da aplicabilidade econômica do autoconsumo remoto de energia elétrica utilizando um sistema de microgeração fotovoltaica no Amazonas(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2019-12-05) Ribeiro, Thainá Reis Brasil; Torné, Israel Gondres; Guzmán del Rio, Daniel; Cisneros, Edry Antonio GarcíaEnergy is a critical resource in the operation of organizations, as whatever industry or economic activity belongs to them, it can reach up to 60% of the value added to the end product. Thus, the availability of this input is of crucial importance in the associated economic aspects, such as production and reproduction costs, as well as socio-environmental impacts linked to the depletion of natural resources and climate change. According to data from the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) or the industrial sector is the largest responsible for energy consumption in the country, accounting for about 34% of final consumption, but it is the least invested in Distributed Generation (GD). ) whereas, although the cost of photovoltaic systems has fallen significantly in recent years, it is still a considerable considerable investment for medium and large consumers who have a significant use of photovoltaic systems. Believe me if remote self-consumption systems will be a solution widely used by large companies, groups or cooperatives, when they get enough knowledge about the advantages of using solar energy, this work will be analyzed by economic and economical systems in the Amazon, study or technical-economic performance of the design of three 75-kWp peak (kWp) solar photovoltaic microgeneration systems, tested and implemented by the local company, Premier System Automation LTDA, known as Solar Energy Expertise, after requesting electricity discounts for a Manaus Business Group.Item Análise da dinâmica vertical de um protótipo BAJA SAE e modelagem em ambiente multicorpos.(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2022-05-26) Silva Junior, Aluney Elferr De Albuquerque; Evangelista Neto, João,; Torné, Israel Gondres; Cisneros, Edry Antonio GarciaThe present work consists of the study of the vertical dynamics of a Baja SAE off-road vehicle. For this, precipitation data of two stations, the Eduardo Gomes Airport (AEG) and Ponta Pelada Airport (APP) locates in the south and northwest of the city of Manaus were used. The methodology consisted of evaluating seasonal and diurnal variability of rainfall in terms of intensity and frequency. Initially, the monthly rainfall accumulation of the two regions was calculated for each year separately, in order to compare with the climate of Manaus. Then, monthly and daytime frequency of precipitation and the seasonal distribution of the insensitive of the rain events were calculated. In general, the total monthly precipitation for the AEG and APP followed the seasonal precipitation of the city of Manaus. However, in some years, values below or above monthly climatology are observed, possibly associated to interannual variability of the El Niño-Southern Oscillation phenomenon. Concerning the classification by rain intensity, in the two regions the highest frequencies occur in the very low precipitation category (0.2 - 1.6 mm) during the January, February and March (JFM) trimester. Events considered extreme (> 18 mm) also occur more frequently in the JFM period, but with smaller numbers of occurrences. The frequency of monthly rainfall showed a higher occurrence of events in the rainy season of the Amazon Region (December to April), with higher values in April, while that in period from June to November (dry season) shows the lowest occurrences, with lower values in September. In relation to the daytime frequency, the highest frequency occurs from 10-15 local time and secondary peaks occur by dawn (00 local time), morning (06 local time) and night (18 local time) on most months.Item Análise da implantação de um sistema de monitoramento da produção de fita adesiva contemplando os conceitos da Indústria 4.0(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2020-11-17) Lucas, Átila Martins; Oliveira, Francisco Assis Barros de; Cabete, Nadja Polyana Felizola; Marques, Sílvio Romero AdjarTechnological advances have produced great growth in industrial productivity since the advent of the Industrial Revolution. Currently, we are experiencing the fourth wave of technological advances characterized by a new digital industrial technology known as Industry 4.0. This paper highlights some Industry 4.0 practices aimed at implementing a technological structure and a monitoring system of production and machine parameters to prepare its production process for the new manufacturing paradigm contemplated by Industry 4.0. For this, we seek to analyze, through a case study, the impacts on manufacturing environment by incorporating techniques such as IoT, Big Data and Analytics in an adhesive tape industry located in Manaus Free Trade Zone, whose observations lasted approximately nine months. The Software and Hardware system were developed by a team of students and professors of Amazonas State University. Based on the results, it is concluded that the use of this form of integrated, automated, shared control and supervision based on the pillars of Industry 4.0 allows for standardization of production, reduction of waste (waiting and defective products), stability in the pace of production and faster and more effective management actions.Item Análise da relação entre as ocorrências de inundações e precipitação na cidade de Manaus para o ano de 2014(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-06-15) Miranda, Priscila Pereira de; Dehaini, Jamile; Souza, Rita Valéria Andreoli de; Souza, Rodrigo Augusto Ferreira deThis work presents a study on the relationship between rainfall and number of floods in the city of Manaus-AM. In order to explore this relationship, flood records of the Civil Defense of Manaus were used for the period from 2010 to 2014. The rainfall variability over the city was analyzed through rainfall records of rain gauges distributed in five of the six zones that comprise the urban zone of Manaus for the year 2014. Pearson's correlation was used to validate the results. In general, it can be said that the stations SBMN, MAUÁ, BETA and EST followed the seasonal precipitation of the city of Manaus. On the other hand, the ALFA and SBEG stations presented different behavior. ALFA with low rainfall rates from April to October, and also in December. SBEG presented monthly accumulations superior to the climatology from March to December, mainly emphasizing the behavior of the rains during the dry period (jul-ago-set). This distinct behavior among the zones must have been caused by differences in land use, proximity to forested areas and influence of river breeze. With respect to flood cases, when monthly totals are analyzed for each year, greater records are observed during the rainy season and during the months of occurrence of Rio Negro maximum levels. The year of 2014 presented high values in the months of March (associated with accumulated precipitation in all zones), May and June, where the last two coincides with the months of occurrences of Rio Negro maximum levels. In relation to other years, the year 2011 presented the highest number of cases for the rainiest months (February and April) that may be associated with the increase of precipitation over the region due to a strong La Niña event occurring in the years 2010-2011 . The neighborhoods that stood out as the most susceptible to flood events were those of Jorge Teixeira (ZL), Terra Nova (ZN), Educandos (ZS), Tarumã (ZO), Alvorada (ZCO) and Flores (ZCS). The zones where the stations of MAUÁ, BETA and EST are located showed a strong correlation between precipitation and floods, when considering the monthly totals. Nevertheless, through the test of significance, only the BETA (ZN) station showed a correlation with a relatively strong degree. On the other hand, the results related to the daily correlation did not present significant values, presenting great dispersion in all the areas considered.Item Análise da viabilidade técnico-econômico-ambiental de geração fotovoltaica em um sistema isolado da região Amazônica com a existência de taxas de emissões e crédito de carbono(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-09-26) Pessoa, Thiago BuzagloThis paper aims to evaluate the feasebility of Photovoltaic Generation (PVG) in a Islanded System (SI) in the Amazon region, considering cash flow related with Greenhouse Gas emissions (GHG) from the project. To evaluate the feasibility the economic model of the Net Present Value (VPL) was considered. For the cash flow determination, data from recent papers and market research was gathered. The islanded system studied was the community of Buiuçu at the Amazonas State. The avoided emissions estimation was done in accordance with the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the United Nations. The GFV revealed to be less attractive econmicaly than the traditional oil generation, in most of the cases, for the project period of 20 years. It was concluded that for the studied microsystem, the cash flow related with the GHG emissions had little economical impact in the project.Item Análise de aderência de habilidades e competências exigidas Pela indústria 4.0 no processo de formação de engenheiros de Produção no Estado do Amazonas(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2021-08-02) Santos, Naelton Lages dos; Cabete, Nadja Polyana Felizola; Onety, Renata da Encarnação; Ferreira, Rejane GomesThe Fourth Industrial Revolution, known as Industry 4.0, emerged based on a transformation of the entire production way in factories through the fusion of digital technology and the internet. This technological disruption requires sophisticated resources, especially the people who will work with these systems, where it is necessary to have skills and competences to deal with new market demands. In this sense, training qualified employees is essential for society. This applies to the Amazonian reality, where the industrial center has local companies that face issues in relation to the maintenance of their operations. So, it is important to reflect on the status of the undergraduation courses in the state of Amazonas in face of the demands imposed by the market. Therefore, this study seeks to identify challenges to Industrial Engineering courses in Amazonas for the training of new professionals in the context of Industry 4.0. From a literature review, 22 skills and competences required in the Industry 4.0 were found. From an investigation of the Courses Pedagogical Project were identified 44 skills and competences proposed for the development of Industrial Engineering students in the universities delimited by the study. With the data collected, an analysis was carried out, through a comparative matrix, of the adherence of I4.0 skills and competences among the skills currently developed in universities. It is concluded that local universities have a low level of adhesion of skills and competences to be developed in future Industrial Engineers to solve challenges in I4.0 environments. Therefore, adjustments are necessary by institutions to develop the new skills required by the market in their courses.Item Análise de agentes químicos com base no ppra em uma indústria metalúrgica do PIM(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2019-12-04) Sako, Letícia; Pinheiro, Clairon Lima; Silva, Marione Tavares; Moriya, Regina YanakoManaus, during part of its history had its economy marked by extractivism. But, between the end of the 50’s and 60’s, the Manaus Free Trade Zone and its base, the Manaus Industrial Pole, emerged as a way to increase the development of the region. In Brazil, concern for the well-being of industry employees began to emerge with the advent of the Consolidation of Labor Laws in 1943, which prompted the creation of several other standards based on occupational health and safety. This paper sought to present Regulatory Standard-09 on the Environmental Risk Prevention Program (PPRA) in a small metallurgical company focusing on chemical fumes, mineral oil, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, that was necessary to choose a sector and make a qualitative analysis of the environment and then a quantitative analysis through sampling and laboratory analysis to verify workers’ exposure to these chemicals. Samples were collected and analyzed using different techniques, depending on the agent, resulting in an average concentration of 0,028 mg/m3 aluminum, 0,034 mg/m3 copper e 0,0432 mg/m3 iron, 0,349 mg/m3 mineral oil, 0 ppm carbon monoxide and 786 ppm carbon dioxide. No exceedance of the tolerance limits imposed by the standards was observed, indicating that the industry has a satisfactory working environment where employees perform their duties safely and without unhealthiness.Item Análise de anomalias em medições de parâmetros elétricos em motores elétricos trifásicos numa fábrica de prensagem(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2019-12-16) Signorelli, Jhonattan Farah; Torné, Israel Gondres; Guzman del Río, Daniel; Cisneros, Edry Antonio GarciaThe present work aims to develop a Failure Mode Analysis table considering all possible parameters that may indicate a future failure in an inductive three-phase electric motor. The focus of the work remains on the motors of a metallurgical press factory. The types of analysis are temperature (using thermographic camera), vibration (using portable vibration meter), current and voltage (using multimeter). The construction of the FMEA table will be made by bibliographic research as well as by technical field survey, observing to what extent there is a limitation of scientific documentation for this subject. The purpose of the work is to reduce the number of plant production line stoppages due to failures in electric motors, as these have a major impact on equipment efficiency. The proposed FMEA table will be used as a procedure model for a maintenance plan and will be shown its implementation in practice, highlighting the actual positive result during the year of its application, with a reduction of more than half in problems in electric motors. Israel Gondres; Fernandes, Rubens de AndradeBluetooth technology is widely used in proximity solutions. The direction finding is a feature incorporated in the Bluetooth technology specification 5.1, which allows us to develop solutions in asset tracking and monitoring with higher accuracy. The location of the devices is done in a multi-stage process, and two methods can be used for direction finding. The Angle of Arrival (AoA) method allows us to measure the angle of arrival of a signal, transmitted by another device, at a receiver containing an array of antennas. Similar to AoA, the Angle of Departure (AoD) method allows us to measure the angle of departure of a signal transmitted by a device containing an array of antennas at a single antenna receiver. The antenna is a crucial part of any implementation with Bluetooth technology, its choice must be made aiming to meet some requirements to get the best possible performance, it must have high accuracy, high sensitivity, sufficient immunity to noise, polarization errors and multipath propagation. Given the lack of studies on the performance of antennas intended for direction finding in indoor localization systems, this work will develop a hardware platform with its respective firmware, in order to compare the performance of an antenna array. The direction finding method to be used is Angle of Arrival, so we will work only in two dimensions to find the angle from the receiver plane. With the results, discussions and conclusions of this work, it is expected to contribute with a study aimed at analyzing the performance of the antennas used in solutions that make use of the direction finding resource.Item Análise de falhas e implementação de soluções na bomba centrífuga de uma distribuidora de combustíveis(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2022-10-25) Jaqtinon, Hirla de Cássia Castro; Hechavarria Perez, José Ramón Hechavarría Pérez; Evangelista Neto, João; Cisneros, Edry Antonio GarciaThis work introduces in desenvolpment the analysis of fails through in centrifugal pumps, trought FMEA - Failure Mode and Effect Analysis.
