Item Desenvolvimento de protótipo de dispositivo de monitoramento de temperatura e geolocalização de vacinas durante o transporte e em Unidades Básicas De Saúde por meio de telemetria para dispositivos móveis(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-03-09) Araújo, Thierry-yves Alves; Oliveira, Jozias Parente de; Cardoso, Fábio de Sousa; Monteiro, Bruno da GamaDuring the Covid-19 pandemic, the world needed to stop and direct its efforts towards vaccine production. Vaccines produced by international and national laboratories are distributed among federative entities by the National Immunization Program (PNI) by air, land or water routes. Vaccines need special care to maintain their responsiveness, but reports from basic health units point out that significant amounts of vaccines are lost due to failures in refrigeration equipment or power outages that occur outside working hours. In view of the problem, the aim of this work was to build a prototype of a monitoring device capable of capturing data from the BMP280 temperature sensor and the Global Positioning System (GPS) module, to store them on a Secure Digital (SD) memory card, and send Short messages Messaging Service (SMS) alerting of non-ideal temperatures, if needed, to a mobile device using a Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) module. With the aid of a styrofoam box and a frozen thermal gel bag, the device was tested in 2 scenarios: in the first scenario, the device was left static in a place for data collection. In the second scenario, the device was taken on a journey through the city. As a result of the tests, data log files were generated, which contained geolocation and temperature data. The geolocation data pointed to the same location in scenario 1 and the route taken in scenario 2 when compared with data in the Google Maps and Google Earth Pro application. The temperature data showed a greater absolute error of 2,32 ºC above that measured by the multimeter in the first scenario, while in the second scenario it was 2,06 ºC. SMS with monitoring data were also received when the temperature was not within the ideal range. Finally, analyzing the data obtained, it was possible to conclude that the developed device prototype is capable of monitoring temperature and geolocation, recording this data in a storage device and sending temperature alerts to a mobile devic
