The present study aimed to investigate the importance of playing for the visually impaired child in early stimulation. This research was carried out in a public school specialized in attending blind and low vision children, having as subjects, 01 teacher, 01 mother and 01 child. In addition, we sought to understand how these games are developed with blind or low-vision students in the referred service and what materials are used to develop such activities. It is also worth mentioning that the mutual participation of professionals in the area of health and education is fundamental, it was made explicit how much play contributes to the development of these children. The study was based on the qualitative approach, having the case study and the semi-structured interview as a support tool. Throughout the study period, it was noticed how early stimulation is important for the development of these children and that this care needs to be done in advance so that some visual residue can be preserved that these children can possess and that the play is of paramount importance for the biopsychosocial development of these children, because although these children have some visual limitation they are children and have the right to play.

This work is the result of a field research carried out in a housing complex in the western zone of Manaus, whose central objective is to know the daily life of children playing paper parrot on weekends in Conjunto Cidadão X, located in the Tarumã neighborhood. At first, we brought the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988, to highlight the right to leisure of people and especially of children, this being a social right for all Brazilian citizens. In the second moment, through the theme "Playing the Kite of Paper - The practice of leisure in the western zone of Manaus", we characterize the children (boys of different ages) who attend the "pipódromo", based on their speeches collected through Interviews. Through the interviews, it was possible to analyze the basic social needs of the residents of the set, as well as their leisure practices.
