Resumo

The new Coronavirus was known worldwide in 2019, becoming the topic main in the media. He arrived in Brazil after the first diagnosis in Wuhan in China. The MEC (Ministry of Education and Culture) published an ordinance (343 of March 17, 2020) which provided for the replacement of face-to-face classes with online classes during the pandemic. It also gave schools the freedom to suspend classes or anticipate vacations. At the São Leopoldo I Indigenous State School, annex to the School State Cacique Manoel Florentino Mecüracü in Benjamin Constant-AM, as he is from interior and indigenous areas, there were many difficulties for teachers and students to adapted to a new teaching model, with hybrid classes being defined as the best strategy. This article aims to show an analysis of the difficulties and challenges of the biology teacher and 2nd year high school students of the aforementioned school during the covid 19 pandemic in order to provide subsidies to establish improvements in the teaching-learning process. The methods used for approach was Qualitative Research, as for the nature of Applied Research, the technical procedures were Bibliographic Research and Field Study, and the instruments for data collection were observation and the questionnaire. In front of observations and the interviewee's answers, it was understood the need to be activities were developed that supported the improvement of learning content of biology. In this way, it was possible to collaborate with the teaching of important content for the understanding of the living world and the perception of the uniqueness of human life relative to other living beings due to their incomparable ability to intervention in the world.
