Resumo
The main focus of this study was to analyze how the concepts and categories of Biogeography are dissolved in the skills and competencies set out in the National Common Curricular Base – BNCC. Our research problem lies in the fact that Biogeography, as scientific knowledge that studies the spatial distribution of life, does not appear as a requirement in the skills and teaching objects at the BNCC of Geography and Natural Sciences (Biology). Our research had as a methodological perspective the carrying out of a bibliographic review and descriptive research, aimed at identifying the theoretical framework of biogeographic science in the learning objectives, as well as the possibility of a didactic interface between Geography and Natural Sciences (Biology) in the curriculum at Escola Estadual Pedro Teixeira, Tabatinga-AM. As a result, it was identified that Biogeography in the thematic units, knowledge objectives and skills in the BNCC appears as synonyms for biodiversity, distribution of physical-natural components, comparison of conservation units, among others, which ends up overshadowing the interdisciplinarity between Geography and Biology . Otherwise, our study was able to identify that the fragmentation of Biogeography into general subtopics can make it difficult to develop teaching plans that promote interdisciplinarity between Geography and Natural Sciences (Biology) at BNCC.
