Resumen
This Course Completion Work addresses the theme: The emotional impacts of
education teachers, caused by covid-19. To analyze this work, we rely on the study
by author Andrade (2020) who researched and wrote about “Illness in teaching work
in times of a pandemic: impacts on the health of teachers in the early years of a
public school in the DF”; by Faustino e Silva (2020) who dealt with “Educators facing
the pandemic: dilemmas and alternative interventions for coordinators and teachers”
and Monteiro e Souza (2020) who dealt with “Mental health and university teaching
working conditions in the COVID pandemic -19”. The general objective of this study
was to elucidate the emotional impacts of Education professionals with a literature
review. The specific objectives are: to discuss the grieving process, coping with
losses, social isolation and the absence of a support network during the pandemic, to
present strategies and tools that help control emotional impacts during the pandemic.
In the methodology, we used a bibliographical research, very relevant with
challenges in this education scenario. We found in the results of the works read,
studied and analyzed that the pandemic brought a great emotional impact, causing
damage to the well-being of teachers, psychological and emotional problems that ran
over in a way in teaching and also in student learning. One of the most affected
points was the family losses, in which the students are scared and still do not believe
in the possibilities of a better life in society. Another factor was the damage it caused
to the learning and isolation of beings.
