Políticas públicas de turismo no município de Manaus: um estudo sobre os programas e projetos de turismo no período de 2003 a 2015.

Abstract

Public tourism policies are guidelines, guiding principles of public authority action that are presented through the programs, actions and activities developed by the State directly or with the participation of other public or private entities, to guarantee a right of citizenship. The present research deals with a part of the history of the municipality of Manaus and describes how public policies occurred, highlighting their importance in the conduct of tourism as a development tool, and can generate new research on the theme through the identification of plans, programs and projects that resulted in actions focused on tourism in the city of Manaus. The objective of the research is to perform a survey of the historical data corresponding to the public policies of the tourist bodies of the Municipality of Manaus from 2003 to 2015. It is understood that the approach of this research is qualitative and quantitative, exploratory and descriptive character for both bibliographic and documentary research, statistical data were used to present the results. Among the public policies found in the years 2003 to 2015 are the following programs and projects: Amazonas For Brazil To know, Aquarela Program, Tourism Regionalization Program of the state of Amazonas, construction of tourist assistance centers, works tourist signage. Project of Tourist Signage of the Platforms of the System - BRS, Project for the Training of Actors of the Tourism Activity, Manaus Belle Époque Project. Theater History- Living Book, Integral Accessibility Project. As well as the countless events Amazonian Tourism Fair that counted with 4 editions, Tourism Week, Boi Manaus 2009, Virada Cultural, Amazonas Festival of Opera, Theater, Jazz, Dance, Film Festival, among others.
