O funcionamento de três coros universitários de Manaus durante a pandemia: estratégias e desafios

Abstract

This article presents the functioning of three university choirs in Manaus during the COVID-19 pandemic. The objectives were: to discuss the impact of physical distancing on choirs; identify the strategies and resources adopted during the distancing; raise the challenges and changes resulting from the new virtual context. The research was of qualitative and quantitative nature under the design of a multicase study and made use of the application of a questionnaire with open and closed questions for the conductors of the choirs. As for the results, it was found that the choirs had a great impact on the learning process, on the interaction between its members and even between the choir and the community. The reality that manifested itself so abruptly brought to the conductors and choristers the need to adapt the teaching methods and preparation of the choirs, as well as the development of new ways of learning the components.
