Cadastur: obrigatoriedade, cumprimento da legislação e importância para o trade turístico no Estado do Amazonas

Abstract

Tourism was one of the sectors that had the greatest impact during the pandemic and planning now needs to be done to resume its activities. Thus, it is important to use aid tools for the planning of tourist activities as well as for the development of the Amazon tourism trade. Forest accommodation is increasingly growing in the Amazon tourism market and for activities involving this type of accommodation to be offered with a quality service, regulated by law, it is necessary to have greater involvement between the public sector, the private initiative and all tourism actors. As a way of analyzing the services offered in the state of Amazonas, the reference indicator is the Register of Tourist Service Providers (Cadastur). The tool has been seen as a guiding instrument for tourism, generating greater visibility and promotion of tourist activity. The register becomes important for the tourist as it serves as a source of consultation, allowing them to have access to the services and activities developed, thus the general objective of this research was to analyze the current situation of tourist service providers in the state of Amazonas, specifically the forest accommodation, with regard to registration with the Ministry of Tourism and regarding the specific objectives were: to discuss the importance of tourism planning and its support tools; identify and characterize service providers with Cadastur in Amazonas (forest accommodation); understand how or how Cadastur can influence tourism business and help service providers during the pandemic. In the methodological aspect, the approach is qualitative and quantitative and the methodological objectives are descriptive and exploratory. Finally, as for the survey results, it appears that entrepreneurs are dissatisfied with the labor available in the state for the sector, in addition it is noted that Amazonas needs to work more in its actions to promote the destination, making its products known nationally and internationally.
