Resumo
Movies can be important teaching-learning processes through critical teaching and assisting in the student's cognitive process. Geared towards the zoological area are still often interposed in relation to their learning. Zoology is an important subject in science education, which is the same as that still used in memorization methods, whereby the individual may present as a morphological complex, terms that are said to be of no importance. Then, zoology is one of the subjects that most promote the lack of interest of the students in the teaching of science. From this it is necessary to have different technologies and methodologies to work this theme within the classroom. One of the ways to make classes with a more attractive zoology is through the use of animated films. How movies are part of the students' daily life is relevant if there is any influence on their learning. In this sense, the present work aims to verify if the use of animated films as an educational strategy has effluence in the teaching of Zoology of elementary school. To reach this goal the research was set up in the search for theoretical references that helped in the foundation of the work. As methodology, we use the qualitative research approach, most used in educational research. For data collection the instruments used was an animated film titled "Finding Nemo" and a questionnaire with questions related to the film. The research targets were 7th grade students of a public school in the city of Nhamundá-Am. In the obtained results it was possible to evaluate a high number of answers in most of the questions, as well as a significant amount of blank answers. Then, through this analysis, we conclude that the use of animated films has great importance in student learning, since it has the capacity to help new subjects facilitating the student's understanding.
