As potencialidades e desafios da aviação regional no Amazonas

Abstract

The study is dedicated to pointing out in a theoretical way the historical process of aviation, emphasizing Amazonas, the regulation of regional air transport and the tourist potential of the state of Amazonas, in order to relate aviation with potential tourist growth for the region. The methodological path was based on a qualitative approach, using interview techniques, bibliographical and documentary research. Therefore, there is demand from passengers and tourists for aviation in the state of Amazonas, however high fares, high operational costs and infrastructure challenges represent considerable obstacles to the development of the regional air transport.
