A formação de leitores por meio do teatro na escola

Abstract

The objective of this article was to present the results of a research that aims to encourage students from public schools in the Municipality of Parintins to become literary readers through theatrical activities. The proposal was based on the use of theatrical practices in the classroom, which have been neglected by new generations. The main theoretical contributions of the research were: Spolin (2001), Silva (2009), Faria (2005), which allowed us to understand how the formation of readers through theater occurs. The methodology used in the research was qualitative analysis, which highlighted the importance of teachers knowing the schools' bibliographic collection and understanding the process of developing readers, since many students do not consider themselves readers because they are not interested in literary texts.
