Análise dos espaços e do trabalho informal dos feirantes na cidade de Parintins/AM

Abstract

This article addressed the theme: “Farm Markets: Analysis of the Spaces and Informal Work of Market Vendors in the City of Parintins-Am”. Market markets are important spaces for the commercialization of family farming products, but they also go far beyond that: they are also spaces for socialization, regional and cultural identity, and also for political articulation. The study aims to: survey the work structure of farmers at the rural producer market in the municipality of Parintins; survey the aspects of work in agriculture in the municipality of Parintins; point out the main difficulties and make a comparison between the family farming markets in the city. The article presents the following methodological procedures: field research, bibliographic survey with a qualitative and quantitative approach, having as locus of study three market markets located in the municipality of Parintins-Am. The application of printed questionnaires to the market vendors with open and closed questions was used as the data collection instrument, and content analysis was also used to analyze these data. The theoretical bases that guided the research were the postulations of Almeida (2009), Souza (2018), Cruz; Ribeiro and Perondi (2020) among other authors. The study achieved the proposed objective, which contributes to the epistemology of knowledge in the area that involves informal work and its connection with the operation of these fairs and the lives of these workers, understanding the economic context of the lower Amazon region and the products sold here and that are part of the diet of the people of Parintins.
