A preservação do patrimônio histórico na Amazônia parintinense: um estudo de caso com uso de técnicas não invasivas para a conservação e reforço

Abstract

The preservation of the historical heritage of Parintins/AM, located in its central area, faces significant challenges due to the deterioration of buildings over time. The main objective of this study was to propose the use of non-invasive techniques, such as damage mapping and structural retrofit, to promote the conservation and reinforcement of a historic building in the city. The methodology adopted included the visual inspection of the building, following applicable regulations for damage mapping, and the planning of technical interventions with the use of metal structures for support, especially on the roof and facade. The damage map was prepared based on the identification and classification of the pathologies present, integrating graphic representations and descriptive information that guided the subsequent steps. The results demonstrated that damage mapping allowed a detailed diagnosis of the conservation status of the building, while structural retrofit, with the application of metal elements, was effective in stabilizing and protecting the most critical areas. It is concluded that the integration of these two non-invasive techniques provided an efficient and replicable approach for the preservation of the historical heritage of Parintins, ensuring the valorization and conservation of its cultural and architectural memory.
