A escuta poético-científica da música popular amazonense (MPA) da década de 1980.

Abstract

The present research sought to address the MPA (Música Popular Amazonense) songs from the 1980s music scene that represent the artistic musical production of the period, distinguished by their Amazonian sound, observing from an interdisciplinary dialogue, the particular characteristics of these works and not losing sight of their musical and cultural influences expressed in their songs as well as the poetic texture of these Amazonian compositions. Our main objective was to highlight the uniqueness of this musical genre and these artistic compositions for the history and culture of Amazonas. The methodology constructed for the analysis of this textual typology consisted of an interdisciplinary dialogue with science and other human sciences, being more interested in the content and scope of the authors studied such as Edgar Morin (2005), Ivanir Fazenda (2008), Marcos Napolitano (2002), Canclini (2019), Paes Loureiro (1995), Raimundo Cardoso (2017), Mário Augusto Dourado Menezes (2011) among other readings that contributed to our historical analysis methodology. We highlight in our analysis the role of the Amazonian imagery found in the composition of the lyrics and sounds.
