Abstract

This research aims to investigate to what extent activities in non-formal learning spaces, such as archaeological sites, are effective in understanding landscape archeology, the result of human action in the environment in past times, which left marks that They are still observed today through archaeological remains found at these sites. To achieve what was proposed, specific objectives were outlined: identifying the archaeological sites existing in the city of Parintins; develop a field activity with 8th year elementary school students in a non-formal learning space; analyze the students' perception of the activity carried out and their understanding of landscape archeology on the Parananema road in Parintins-AM. The work in an interactive approach points out that students were able to identify nowadays it is possible to observe the interference left by man in nature, proving that his interference shapes the landscapes according to his needs.
