Uso de ferramentas tecnológicas no ensino de ciências contábeis: o olhar dos acadêmicos da Universidade do Estado do Amazonas

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technological innovations has impacted various professional fields, requiring constant updates and the development of new skills from professionals. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the main innovations; however, its adoption also presents challenges. The research emphasizes the importance of mastering Information Technology (IT) skills to add value to the profession and enhance organizations. The proposed study aims to analyze the perceptions of Accounting students at the State University of Amazonas regarding the impact of AI on their education and future professional careers. It seeks to identify the advantages and challenges of using AI, as well as assess students' preparedness and interest in acquiring technological skills, in order to understand how they are preparing for the demands of the job market. Through a qualitative-quantitative survey via forms, it is observed that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has great potential to transform accounting practice.
