Resumo
This study analyzes how Márcia Kambeba and Sony Ferseck (Amazonian poets) literary production, are made of confrontation and resistance, and are figured as practices of identity affirmation for the indigenous people. We analyze how their poetry is realized as a form of subversion in face of attempts of past subordination imposed by colonization and patriarchy. The nature of this research is interdisciplinary regarding the human sciences concepts, articulating literature, culture, gender and territoriality, and is based on theories such as Gadamer's hermeneutics (2015) and Conceição Evaristo's concept of writing (2020). The study is structured in three chapters. Initially, we analyze indigenous literature, seeking to highlight how these works challenge colonial narratives and can be seen as a mechanism to combat them and claim for indigenous people identity and rights. At the same time, it places these subjects at the forefront of indigenous protagonism in Brazil. Chapter two discusses the relationship between women, territory, and poetry, emphasizing the concept of body-territory, and the importance of the struggle for cultural and territorial preservation. Chapter three analyzes the themes addressed by the authors, such as ancestry, resistance, and the relationship with nature, and reflects upon the possibility of including these readings within the educational context. The study concludes that the poetry of indigenous women not only preserves and revitalizes cultural traditions, but also acts as a political instrument of resistance, challenging stereotypes and reaffirming their autonomy and their voice. We can also note the role of this works in relation to their protagonism in scientific and literary fields, about their people, their territorialities, and their experiences. Therefore, Indigenous literature is realized as a space of struggle and identity affirmation, contributing to the deconstruction of hegemonic narratives and the promotion of intercultural education.
