Memorial etnográfico: uma reflexão sobre princípios de arcadas e dedilhados na iniciação ao violino

Abstract

This study aims to investigate bowing and fingering techniques on the violin, based on literature on the music field and its pedagogy that helped in the understanding of this work, as it adopts a qualitative approach, based on bibliographic reviews and with the aim of discussing the fundamental elements that influence technical and artistic decisions related to the violinist's right and left hands. The analysis of these studies starts from the point of view that the techniques are not limited only to mechanical aspects of the instrument, but seek a planning that aims at a coherent musical interpretation. The selection of theoretical references considers renowned authors in the field of music and violin pedagogy such as Ivan Galamian, Carl Flesch and Rolland, among others. Among the results of this study are a better understanding of the use of the violinist's right and left hands, key points for beginners to start playing the violin and how left and right hand techniques contribute to sound development.
