Coleção Abacaba: minicontos inspirados na jornada do herói

Abstract

The book is the result of a collective literary literacy effort and consists of 18 stories presented in Portuguese and English, inspired by Campbell's monomyth narrative format. Each story carries with it a little of the authors' experiences, aligned with the knowledge they acquired about literature in the classroom, combined with elements of the mythology of Amazonian indigenous peoples and traditional knowledge that has been transmitted orally in everyday conversations in the spaces they occupy, whether in urban areas or in the rural communities that make up the municipalities of Careiro Castanho and Itacoatiara.
