Resumo

This study aims to analyze the preservation of personality rights in the service provided by the Military Fire Department of Amazonas (CBMAM), highlighting the need to reconcile technical excellence with the observance of human dignity in situations of vulnerability. The research's relevance lies in the urgency of adapting institutional practices to constitutional principles that ensure the protection of the victims' image, honor, and privacy. The methodology adopted is qualitative, involving bibliographic and documentary research, based on doctrines, legislation, and jurisprudence concerning human dignity and state responsibility. The analysis demonstrated that, although the Corporation maintains a high technical standard, it lacks formal protocols and equipment designed to protect victims' privacy, exposing the Institution to ethical and legal risks. The results proposed solutions such as creating a specific Standard Operating Procedure (POP), implementing visual barrier equipment, anonymizing images, and conducting training focused on ethics and human rights. It is concluded that the effective preservation of personality rights represents a legal duty and an instrument for institutional enhancement, essential for consolidating the CBMAM as a national reference in humanized service and respect for the victim's dignity.
