Redes de sociabilidade na comunidade Santana do Miriti – assentamento de Vila Amazônia, Parintins (AM)

Abstract

This research is an analysis of the sociability networks in the Santana do Miriti Community, located in the Vila Amazônia Glebe Settlement in the Municipality of Parintins, identifying how the social and productive relations that shape the flow between the rural and urban environments of the region are shaped. In this sense, studies focused on social networks (Marques, 2010; Granovetter, 1985) and on the Urban-Riverine Territorial System (STUR) (Bartolli, 2018, 2020) were used, in order to articulate qualitative and descriptive approaches in the study. Data collection was carried out through the application of forms and open interviews with local residents, mainly with the interviewee of this research. Thus, it is evident that the sociability networks are based on kinship ties, neighborhood and cooperation, supporting the productive and commercialization practices of family farming and agro-extractive products. Furthermore, it was found that the networks are interdependent with the urban space, revealing the socio-spatial integration characteristic of contemporary Amazonian territories
