O ensino de latim para os surdos: um estudo de caso

Abstract

This monograph aimed to analyze the teaching of Latin to the deaf as na inclusive proposal in the field of educations. The approach seeks to demostrate that Latin, since it is no longer used orally but Rather for Other specific purposes, can represent na accessible opportunity for the deaf within classical studies, especially in the áreas of gramar and literature. The proposal argues that, with pedagogical methodologies adapted to the linguistic needs of the deaf, it´s possible to provide meaningful and equitable learning. In this way, in additions to promoting inclusion, the teaching os Latin can open professional paths, epanding the possibilities for the inclusion of the deaf in the universe of classical and humanistic studies.
