Impacto do período da seca sobre a biodiversidade de macrofungos em uma área de mata segundária no município de Parintins-Am

Abstract

The present work aimed to evaluate the impact of the dry season on the biodiversity of fungi in a secondary forest area in the municipality of Parintins-AM. The research was carried out through a field survey with a quantitative approach, with observations made at three distinct points in the area, which were marked using GPS. The survey was complemented by photographic records taken from September 2024 to April 2025, aiming to capture the different environmental conditions present on site during the dry and rainy periods. Based on the data collected in the field, 21 species were found, distributed across 6 orders and 12 families, and a table was prepared containing the identification of the species, the location, and the period in which they were recorded. The macrofungi of the Polyporaceae family displayed the highest number of species during the dry season the macrofungi of the Mycenaceae family showed the highest number of species during the rainy season. The results indicate that, during the dry season, the number of species was significantly lower compared to the rainy season, highlighting the influence of climatic variations on fungal diversity in the studied area.
