Relato de experiência em pesquisa histórica: memórias dos colonos do projeto esperança em Novo Aripuanã

Abstract

This work focuses on the experience of research in the field of History, aiming to present the paths taken to uncover the objects of research, which, in this case, is the Esperança Project and the people who experienced its implementation process in the region of the municipality of Novo Aripuanã. The objective of the research was to understand this occupation process based on the narratives of interviewees in confrontation with project documentation, in order to record the ways of life, difficulties, and challenges faced by the settlers in these lands. For this, the Oral History method, in its modality, Thematic Oral History, was used to produce the oral sources that composed the documentation to be analyzed in the research work. The results obtained present a perspective on the shortcomings of state policies that have little effectiveness and violently impact people's lives. The lack of adequate assistance was responsible for marking a narrative marked by violence, injustice, and conflict regarding the issue of land occupation in Novo Aripuanã.
