Resumo
This experience report addresses the integration of active methodologies in Youth and Adult Education. The overall objective of this work is to understand active methodologies in order to apply them to the teaching of history. Specifically, it aims to stimulate students' critical thinking, understand the difficulties faced by teachers in the educational process, and encourage the use of active methods that favor the critical and autonomous development of EJA (Youth and Adult Education) students in the subject of History. The research was conducted in the city of Carauari, using a qualitative and quantitative approach, in order to prove its effectiveness even with some adversities. The entire period of supervised internship I was analyzed, and an oral interview was conducted with the teacher. To confirm the effectiveness of the methods, a questionnaire was applied to the class after a lesson. Based on the results obtained through the field research, the conclusion was favorable, supported by the analyses of the internship and the students' feedback on the lesson with active methodologies. Students' interest in learning through active methods is outstanding, making the practices used effective and aiming to transform the classroom into a place of simultaneous learning exchange.
