Resumo
The present research entitled “Rural Education in Parintins: a study from the conversation wheels of the Paulo Freire-FOPINECAF Parintinense Forum of Rural Education, Forests and Waters” sought to learn about rural education in the Municipality of Parintins from FOPINECAF's conversation wheels. Its specific objectives were: to research what studies reveal about education in the field; to verify what the conversation circles point about the education of the field in Parintins in the perception of teachers, students, parents, workers and representatives of institutions and social movements; identify the demands and perspectives that emerge in the educational conversation wheels in the field. The authors of the study are: Arroyo (2004; 2007), Caldart (2004, 2015), Fabré (2007), Freire (2002; 2005), Ghedin (2008), Molina (2004), Silva (2017), Souza (2013), Vasconcelos (2010), Vasconcelos (2017) and others. This is a qualitative research, with dialectical approach, which involved bibliographic reviews and strategy of free and participant observation, conversation wheel and drawings for data collection. The subjects involved were twenty subjects among them: workers, teachers, students and leaders of social movements for which they were pleased to safeguard the identity to the valuation of the subjects. The research results indicate the demands and perspectives of the rural subjects who want better days. The survey results indicate how important it is for rural subjects to keep alive the struggle and hope for a strengthened education. But not only that, it is equally important and necessary to strengthen, through FOPINECAF, all aspects involved in the context of the field, from the social, political, cultural, religious and economic.
