Resumo
The present work presents a theme on the theme “The Pedagogical Residency Program in the 5th year of Elementary School Class”. This research started from observations in the classroom with students who had some difficulties in Portuguese Language and Mathematics in the 5th year and what was done within the program to contribute to the teaching of these students. Its theoretical foundation was based on the assumptions of renowned authors, such as: BRASIL (2008); LEBANON (2004); PIMENTA (1995) among others, with the general objective; Know the main contributions of the Pedagogical Residency Program in the training of undergraduates in Pedagogy and for the 5th grade class of a field school of Elementary Education, and as specific objectives: Report the difficulties experienced by undergraduates in Pedagogy within the classroom during the period participation in the Pedagogical Residency Program; Check the contributions in the training of undergraduates in Pedagogy participating in the Residency Program; ; Identify the benefits that the Pedagogical Residency Program of the Pedagogy course brought to the 5th year class of the Campo School. For this, we used a qualitative research, with a phenomenological approach, with the case study, it was possible to obtain answers about what contributions the program brought to the 5th year class of the field school, for data collection we used the questionnaire open with the research subjects; residents, governess and coordinator. The results achieved through this study allowed us to recognize that the Pedagogical Residency Program helped positively in the teaching - learning of students in the 5th year of Elementary School.
