Resumo
The general objective of this experience report was to analyze the difficulties teachers face when teaching History using textbooks. In short, the research is characterized as field research and documentary analysis, bibliographic research, systematic observations of internship reports I and II, and surveys of documents such as the PNLD (National Textbook Program) and LDB (Law of Directives and Bases of National Education), among others. Several tools were used to improve the research development, such as the creation of questionnaires, which were conducted with 7 teachers from both schools on September 12th and 13th, 2024. Teachers from the morning and evening shifts of the aforementioned schools answered a specific and structured questionnaire with a total of 7 questions. Finally, this research is important because it presents the realities of some of the schools studied, allowing us to contribute with suggestions presented by the teachers as a way to minimize problems in education.
