Contribuições do PIBID na formação de professores de ciências biológicas: uma investigação com licenciandos da universidade do estado do Amazonas em Parintins-Am

Abstract

This thesis aimed to analyze the contributions of the Institutional Program of Scholarships for Teaching Initiation (PIBID) to the initial training of Biology Education students. The study involved 15 Biology Education students who participated in PIBID from 2022 to 2024. Qualitative research, including theoretical grounding and interviews with the participants, was used. The research was informed by the works of Bogdan & Biklen (1994), Leite (2008), Tardif (2010), and Nóvoa (1995). The data from the interviews were analyzed using Textual Discursive Analysis (TDA), which highlighted PIBID's significance in initial training, professional development, and the shaping of the professional profile of the students, including the adoption of new Biology teaching methodologies.
