Abstract

The general aim of this memoir is to reflect on my schooling and my experiences in teaching, and for having built up knowledge from the moments that were passed on during the pedagogy course, where various educational aspects were addressed. Using the methodology of autobiographical narratives from the writing of a descriptive analytical memoir emphasizing biographical trajectories, teaching experiences and perspectives on teaching professionalization. The research showed that the memoir gives the reader/educator a broader view of the role of the teacher, and its importance in education, addressing issues relating to the act of teaching and the use of reading/writing as a complement and contribution to a more conscious and fruitful teaching, indicating it as a form of suggestion to be worked on in the classroom.
