Resumo

In this end-of-course work, it is clear that dance education can be an agent of transformation, not only in the transition from the school context, or as a trainer of thinking agents, but also for the practice of teaching and learning for life. However, in the school context, dance still faces an ongoing struggle to gain a foothold because there are few professionals with academic training in dance in public schools. This is why this research was developed through questions and experiences livid amidst the covid-19 Pandemic in public schools, where there is little viability for projects that can develop dance in schools as an educational practice that stimulates creation, which approaches to what creation is through dance and what the advantages are of exploring it with interdisciplinarity, as well as how it can stimulate the subject so that they allow themselves to delve into their own creative form, making it possible for the school to provide an environment that stimulates creativity, contributing to a holistic education. Therefore, the choice of theme seeks a way to overcome these challenges precisely with a different look, so that professionals use other means of creativity such as dance, for example, to complement and dialogue between other disciplines, thus bringing the possibility of using creative dance as an educational process in public schools, seeking to define the main theoretical references that use dance-education in schools, to raise questions about the importance of creative activities with dance, and to analyze together with the school a feasibility of experimenting in the future with the application of research using some other disciplines, such as: history, mathematics, literature etc. The work was developed in such a way that the research provides a much better and plausible breadth of theoretical and practical knowledge, through which it is possible to understand how the studies of the proposed data are carried out and the coherent relationship of the function of creative dance within the educational training process in public schools, an opportunity to enrich the education of students and not only their artistic expression, but also to collaborate with other elements of the individual's formation that are of paramount importance to this whole process, such as their social, cognitive and educational development, among others; thus promoting the valorization of the suggestion for practice and effective implementation in the educational curriculum.
