Corpo em escuta: um processo de experiência corporal e musical

Abstract

This study addresses the relationship between body and music, with the theme The Body in Listening: a process of bodily and musical experience. Its main objective is to investigate the relationship between body and music in human sensory and emotional experience, with an emphasis on the practice of body listening, and to evaluate its implications and benefits. Therefore, how can body perception be stimulated through sounds and how can this perception influence interpretation and body expression? The relationship between body and music in the experience of the dancer is an area of study that has received increasing attention. However, there are still significant gaps in the understanding of how body listening can influence musical perception and body expression. In this sense, the type of research and methodology is classified as a Phenomenographic Method, Qualitative, Bibliographic and Exploratory Research, whose exploration process is accompanied and, consequently, traversed by the artist-student-researcher who guides the investigation. And the writing of this study counts on the collaboration of authors who study this theme that involves body listening, music, improvisation and modernism.
